Capacitor Range Includes 6.3V Parts In C-CaseAVX has announced a low ESR tantalum capacitor range that includes low ESR 330uF/6.3V parts in a C-case (6032-26). With an ESR as low as 80mohms, TPS capacitors are suitable for smoothing and filtering on 3.3V power rails. Due to their high-capacitance capability, these capacitors can also be used as battery support in hand-held devices.
TPS tantalum capacitors have a maximum direct-leakage current of 19.8uA and a maximum dissipation factor at 120Hz of 12 per cent. Operating temperature range is -55 to 125C. These devices meet the requirements of AEC-Q200 for the automotive industry.
