3 speed self-tailing winch for sailboats (carbon, base dia. 360-380 mm) 105/3STR Lewmar

6 x M12 (1/2 in) countersunk head screws on 288mm (11 11/32 in) PCD. Lewmar recommend that the rope enters onto the drum at an angle of 5º to 10º to the base axis of the winch. To achieve this angle it may be necessary to use a base wedge when installing the winch. This product is Made to Sailboat hydraulic winch 125HST The Lewmar Wavespring self-tailer combines our renowned and gentle wave grip feature with self adjusting springs. It handles today's smaller diameters, as well as the traditional larger Dacron composite ropes. A sleek, minimum-friction feeder arm provides absolute snag-free operation. Electric winch control box The ELS (Electric Load Sensing) Control Box is fitted with an Overload Protection. This allows the winch to be operated up to a high load, equivalent to its SWL (Safe Working Load). When this load is reached the control box automatically cuts out. If the load is reduced the winch load can be increased back up to this cut out level. Safety Overload Cut Out function was pioneered by Lewmar, and is a unique Lewmar feature. A Motor Thermal trip is connected as an extra safety feature to ensure a motor cut out if the heat builds up to an unacceptable level. Boat autopilot drive unit   Boat bow thruster VERTICAL RETRACTING Lewmar    Lewmar has continued development of its Custom Thruster range started in 1983 with the introduction of the VRTT series. The VRTT utilises the advances gained with the successful TT range, to give the most rugged and powerful range of retracting thrusters on the market. The addition of the VRTT range enables Lewmar to supply a retracting Thruster for vessel from 43ft(13m) up to 150ft (45m). Vertical Retracting Thrusters give ultimate control without having to compromise hull performance. When not in use the Thruster retracts into the hull leaving a clean line, so there is no drag. The 300 VRTT Hydraulic is capable of developing more than 30HP and as Retracting Thrusters not only give better immersion but also can be mounted further forward they will give better performance per HP than a standard tunnel Thruster. Lewmar understands the importance of pollution and the environment so all motors are housed inside the hull, to minimise leaks. All the vertical retractors have a manual raise lower mechanism for use in the event of power failure or for cleaning and antifouling.
